“The White Ring” is the name given to the connection between the ski areas of Lech with Zürs, Zug and Oberlech. 22 kilometers of downhill runs and no less than 5,500 meters of altitude difference: this makes the hearts of ambitious skiers beat faster. A sporting challenge that top skiers take on every year in the legendary “White Ring” race.
Incidentally, the course record for the “longest ski race in the world” is still held by former ski racer Patrick Ortlieb with his best time of 44:35:07 minutes.
